The opening contribution is a keynote by Tom Haak from HR Trend Institute, Amsterdam – a regular and appreciated guest at the HR Innovation Day. In his keynote on "Improving the Employee Experience with HR Tech" Tom Haak explained above all the various technical possibilities of how to shape Employee Experience. I am happy to have had the opportunity to welcome Tom Haak – one of the Top Global Influencers in HR Tech 2018 – as keynote speaker at our event.

I was particularly pleased that we were able to win over Rebecca Lundin, the co-founder of Celpax, for a keynote. Celpax is a small company from Stockholm, which presents a solution to measuring the mood of employees. In her keynote on "Real Time Employee Morale: Why measure daily?" Rebecca Lundin describes the interesting possibilities offered by the Celpax-tools and how companies can profit from it.
